Anyone who's knows about my makeup obsession knows that aside from highlighter, eyeliner is my absolute favourite. You'd be hard pressed to find me leaving the house without it on. Whether it's a perfect wing, a punch of colour or just a subtle swipe, eyeliner is simply the only essential you need to make your eyes pop! I've been complimented time and time again on my fleek-y wings, so I figured I'd pass on to you, my secret to achieving them; using the best eyeliners in the game. So, here are my personal favourites.
1. Black Liquid (23$)
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this eyeliner is simply the best. I could jump in my swimming pool and it still wouldn't budge. I swear by it and will use it until the day I die. Endofstory.
2. White Liquid (25$)
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner

White eyeliner is a great way to create a unique look. It's unexpected, bold and guaranteed to catch some attention. Stila Stay all day liner has the best pure white shade called Snow that isn't streaky or clumpy like many other white liners. This brand also comes in second place for black liner, along with many other pretty and bold colours. But Snow is my favourite of them all! (If you're looking for a more affordable alternative to this NYX makes a white eyeliner that is pretty kick ass too!)
3. Glitter (23$)
Urban Decay Heavy Metal

Admit it, everyone loves a little bit of sparkle in their lives. Okay, so maybe glitter eyeliner is not suitable for every day occasions. But once in a while, on special occasions, it's great to add glitter to glam up your look and give your eyes a fun little pop. This Urban Decay liner comes in a bunch of colours that will make you sparkle, no matter what the occasion
4. Multi-Coloured (10$)
NYX Vivid Brights

Most people don't go outside their black comfort zone with liquid liners, but colours are a fun way to experiment with different looks. Use them on their own or above a swipe of black liner for a more playful look. It's unexpected and totally awesome! NYX vivid brights are a cheap way to experiment with colour while still offering top quality liner that goes on smooth and stays in place.
5. Gel Pot (8$)
Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Gel Liner

I know, gel pot liners tend to be harder to work with then pencils or felt tips. However, once you start experimenting you'll find they offer the same boldness that you're looking for. Rimmel Scandaleyes is my absolute favourite in this category. It's hard to believe it's from the drugstore but it's a top notch product and it's such a steal. So step out of your felt tip rut and try something different, it's a totally inexpensive alternative!
6. Pencil (30$)
Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon

This Marc Jacobs liner has the pigmentation of a gel pot, yet goes on with the ease of a pencil, making it an absolute perfect combination. I've tended to have trouble with pencil eyeliners because I find them to be not pigmented enough, or too waxy to go on smooth, or just plain patchy and awful. I know this Marc Jacobs liner costs a pretty penny, but it lasts forever! And it comes in 22 different colours that will make all of your pencil dreams come true! it's the best I've ever used, I promise.
So whether you're looking for a subtle sweep, a simple wing, or a sultry cat eye these liners will have you covered! Skip the shadow for a bolder look or use it to add to an already dramatic eye. Eyeliner is fun and flirty and gives any look a little something extra, so have fun with it!
